| David’s musical journey began at the age of 8 with the French Horn. David studied music all throughout his youth and attended the Azusa Pacific University on a French Horn scholarship. It was at APU that David found his love for singing. Studying voice and performing as a soloist with the University Choir, as well as leading several small vocal ensembles touring the US and Europe, David quickly gained a wealth of knowledge and experience that has proved invaluable upon embarking on his professional career in music.
David has been working in the Los Angeles area as a studio vocalist and arranger for the past 10 years. He has worked with such renowned artists as Barry Manilow, Sandi Patti, Crystal Lewis, Jonathan Pierce, Sheila Walsh, Drew Cline and Matthew Butler (of the gospel group Newsong), The Ralph Carmichael Big Band, The Ray Conniff Big Band and Singers, The Walt Disney Company, the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, and as a featured soloist with The Long Beach Pops Orchestra.
Currently, when he’s not doo-wopping with the Alley Cats, you can find David performing with such artists as David Pack (of Ambrosia www.davidpack.com), up and coming singer/songwriter David Thiele (www.davidthiele.com), and his own alternative rock band Northern 45.
On most weekends you can find David singing or leading worship at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA (www.saddleback.com).
David currently resides in Trabuco Canyon, CA with his wife Trina, and daughters Emma and Abby.
